Own a Piece of Corruption History!

The feds are auctioning off a dozen personal items forfeited by former congressman Jesse Jackson, Jr., who was convicted of spending around $750,000 in campaign contributions on personal luxuries.  Act quickly, and you could be the proud owner of a red cashmere cape, an autographed Michael Jackson poster or a framed Bruce Lee autograph — all items that Jackson illegally purchased for himself with campaign funds.  Jackson spent $4,000 to buy a guitar supposedly signed by Michael Jackson and Eddie Van Halen, but that item was pulled off the block after its authenticity came into question.

The Marshall’s Service is conducting the auction at www.txauction.com.  The proceeds will be applied to the restitution order against Jackson.
